The Opportunity The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance, leadership, and execution of AGI's Marshall, IL manufacturing facility. This role owns full site accountability across operations, supply chain and drives collaboration with engineering and inside sales, ensuring alignment between demand, capacity, and execution. The General Manager drives results through disciplined operating systems, clear accountability, and a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Operational Leadership Lead all site operations with a structured operating system and standard work Drive daily execution through defined metrics, cadence, and escalation Ensure on time delivery through schedule adherence and capacity alignment Maintain strict focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Establish leadership presence on the floor with routine engagement and accountability Financial Performance Own full P&L performance for the facility Develop and execute budgets, forecasts, and site plans Drive productivity through standard hours, labor efficiency, and revenue per headcount Reduce cost of quality including scrap, rework, warranty, and premium freight Translate operational improvements into measurable EBITDA impact. Team Leadership & Culture Build and lead a high performance team with clear ownership and expectations Hold leaders accountable for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance Drive a culture of urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement Partner with HR on talent development and succession planning Engineering & Product Support Ensure alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and customer requirements Enforce structured product and process development and change management Drive design for manufacturability and smooth product launches Sales & Customer Experience Align production with demand through a structured planning process Support inside sales to ensure responsiveness and delivery performance Maintain strong relationships with key customers and resolve escalations quickly Strategic Execution Translate corporate strategy into clear site level actions Lead capital planning focused on capacity, constraints, and return on investment Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field required. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations. Proven experience managing a full P&L and leading multi-functional teams. Background in industrial equipment, agriculture, or heavy manufacturing preferred. Experience overseeing engineering and commercial (inside sales/customer service) functions is highly desirable. Why AGI? Although base salary for this position falls within the above posted range, final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
