Job Description
Christian Camp, Retreat, and Conference Center seeks an accomplished relational leader, grounded and growing in Christian faith. This is a full-time, year round position. Camp Mack is located on 200+ acres on Lake Waubee in Northern Indiana. The facility is a ministry of the Church of the Brethren and applicants should have an understanding of, or appreciation for and willingness to embrace, the values of this denomination. Since 1925, the camp has served as a place of holy sanctuary, leadership development, and faith formation. Through outdoor education and retreat opportunities, a significant Lilly Foundation grant to improve accessibility, and an experienced Board and staff committed to strategic planning, this ministry is well positioned to navigate change. This leader will serve as the chief executive of Camp Mack, providing vision, direction, and stewardship for all aspects of the organization. They will be equally comfortable engaging with campers and congregations, collaborating with board members, developing staff, managing budgets, overseeing facilities, offering mission-driven hospitality, and representing the ministry at large through excellent communication skills and Christ-centeredness. Onsite housing can be provided.
