This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Rattan Group . The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. and its subsidiary companies (collectively, "Marriott"). The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, termination, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee, not Marriott.JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment. Assists the General Manager in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies. Verifies the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations. Builds relationships with key customers and is involved in the sales process. Required- At least two years of hotel experience, including one year in a supervisory role.
- Experience with front-desk operations, guest complaints and employee supervision.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer, financial-reporting and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation. Preferred, but not required
- Previous Assistant General Manager or hotel-management experience.
- Experience with OPERA and Marriott systems.
- Experience at a select-service hotel.
- College education in hospitality or business.
