Excellent Benefits and Competitive Pay Minimum 10 years of operations/management experience Snelling Staffing is seeking a General Manager to oversee the operations of a processing facility for a local company with over 25 years of servicing the Baton Rouge area. This role will be responsible for the management of company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and maintaining oversight of all staff and training. This is a direct-hire position with a starting salary of $90,000 and an extensive benefits package including medical insurance, paid-time off, 401k with Match, and a car and phone allowance.

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee management for the areas of receiving, processing, and delivery Develop and train staff to ensure proper processing of a quality product Manage expenses and budgeting tasks including forecasting Control labor, delivery, energy, and chemical costs while developing an efficient workforce Coordinate the installation and operation of new equipment and the maintenance of current equipment Oversee regulatory compliance and maintain plant safety for all employees and visitors Produce weekly reports for inflow and outflow of product Interact with customers, creating an open line of communication to ensure order accuracy

Previous Qualifications:
