Assistant Manager Description:
West Newton Cinema is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Full-Time Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will support the Cinema Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the cinema, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing part-time staff. This role is ideal for someone passionate about films, highly responsible, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service:
Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by maintaining a weing and clean environment. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a positive guest experience.
Operational Management:
Open and close the cinema, ensuring all systems are operational and the facility is ready for patrons. Oversee part-time staff, including scheduling, training, and performance assessments. Assist with special events, including film screenings and children's events. Learn to manage and operate projection equipment. Serve alcohol responsibly; must be 18 and willing to be TIPS certified.
Inventory and Maintenance:
Maintain inventory levels for concessions and other supplies. Ensure the cinema is clean, safe, and in good repair at all times.
Financial Management:

Qualifications:
Qualifications Demonstrated experience in a customer service or management role. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Stronganizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellentmunication skills and ability to work well with diverse groups. Demonstrated front-of-house hospitality experience and an instinct for guest care. Passion for films and the cinema industry. Must be at least 18 years old and willing to be TIPS certified for alcohol service.
