Executive Director

Under the guidance of the Vice President of Operations, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of the Boll Family YMCA, a branch within the YMCA of Metro Detroit. This position provides cause-driven leadership in the areas of membership & program administration; development & fundraising; leadership & supervision; fiscal management; board development; and safety & risk management. As part of the executive leadership team, the Executive Director is accountable for branch financial, membership, and annual campaign goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required. YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification preferred. Six or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency. Experience in management and development of staff and volunteers. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others.
