Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional assistance throughout their visit Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Opentable and Square Answer phone inquiries with clear communication and courteous phone etiquette, directing calls as needed Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Support the serving team by coordinating guest needs and delivering excellent guest relations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas to uphold high standards of hospitality Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure Skills Previous host/hostess experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred Strong customer service skills with a welcoming demeanor and positive attitude Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Opentable and Square is a plus Experience in hotel or hospitality environments enhances guest relations capabilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest services best practices to foster positive interactions This role is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on creating enjoyable experiences for every guest.
