Our Business Valuation team provides independent valuation and litigation support services to businesses through various stages of their lifecycle, including ownership transitions, mergers and acquisitions, estate and gift tax planning, succession planning, divorce, shareholder disputes, and financial reporting. Rather than taking a formulaic approach, our team considers the individual history and circumstances of each business to provide clients and their advisors with objective, defensible valuation conclusions. As demand for valuation services continues to grow, Hungerford is seeking an experienced Business Valuation leader to increase capacity, strengthen referral relationships, and support the long-term continuity of the practice. Your Impact As a Business Valuation Senior Manager , you will lead complex valuation engagements, serve as a trusted advisor to clients and referral partners, and provide technical leadership within Hungerford's valuation practice. This role is ideal for an experienced valuation professional who can operate independently, manage engagements from start to finish, and bring established relationships within the legal, financial, and business advisory communities. You will play an important role in expanding Hungerford's valuation capacity while helping position the practice for continued success as part of long-term succession planning. How You Will Add Value Lead complex business valuation and quality of earnings engagements from planning through final report delivery, ensuring high-quality analyses, reports, and client service. Increase Hungerford's capacity to serve clients with business valuation and litigation support needs. Perform and review financial statement analysis, valuation modeling, industry research, and written reports utilizing appropriate methodologies. Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, attorneys, and other professional advisors navigating ownership transitions, disputes, tax planning matters, and other valuation-related needs. Develop and strengthen referral relationships with attorneys, bankers, wealth advisors, CPA firms, and other centers of influence to support continued growth of the practice. Apply senior-level technical expertise to independently manage engagements with limited oversight while maintaining exceptional quality and responsiveness. Identify opportunities to improve valuation processes, deliverables, and quality control measures to enhance efficiency, consistency, and client experience. Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance as the valuation team continues to grow. Expand the visibility and reach of Hungerford's business valuation services throughout West Michigan and beyond. Support the long-term continuity and succession of the valuation practice by helping preserve institutional knowledge and strengthen future leadership within the service line.
