Job Description
HOTWORX® General Manager Job DescriptionMission The General Manager is responsible for the overall success and growth of the HOTWORX® studio. This includes leading the team, driving membership sales, executing marketing initiatives, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the studio consistently meets or exceeds all operational and financial performance goals. The General Manager serves as the face of the HOTWORX® brand and is expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, leadership, and accountability while creating an outstanding experience for every member and guest. Required Training & Certifications The General Manager must successfully complete and maintain the following training requirements: Complete HOTWORX® Certification and renew annually. Complete all required HOTWORX® University General Manager curriculum and annual refresher courses. Complete all newly released HOTWORX® University courses as assigned. Attend regional training seminars and educational events. Complete on-site operational shadow training covering: Daily studio operations Equipment maintenance Product knowledge Membership sales processes Studio systems and procedures Subscribe to and actively follow the weekly HOTWORX® Blog, implementing relevant strategies within the studio. Ensure all staff members subscribe to and review the weekly blog. Encourage members to subscribe to the HOTWORX® Blog. Attend all required webinars and conference calls and successfully complete any associated quizzes or assessments. Attend the annual HOTWORX® Convention. Maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications at all times. Complete any additional training required by HOTWORX® Corporate. Core ResponsibilitiesLeadership Lead by example every day. Create a positive, energetic, and results-driven culture. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop high-performing team members. Conduct regular staff meetings and ongoing training sessions. Hold employees accountable to performance standards and company policies. Foster an environment built on teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional member service. Operations Work a minimum of 40 hours per week , accurately tracked through the POS system. Arrive at least 15 minutes early for scheduled shifts, meetings, promotions, training sessions, and appointments. Ensure the studio remains clean, organized, fully operational, and member-ready at all times. Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance as needed. Ensure all operational procedures are followed consistently. Professional Standards Maintain a professional appearance at all times. Adhere to all HOTWORX® Uniform Policies and Code of Conduct. Wear approved HOTWORX® branded apparel and official name badge while on duty or attending company functions. Represent the HOTWORX® brand with professionalism both inside and outside the studio. Customer Experience Deliver an exceptional member experience during every interaction.
