General Manager The Ski Monster Plymouth, MN Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $65,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Customer communication Management Sales Customer service E-commerce Skiing Full Job Description Job Summary We're looking for one of the first key members of The Ski Monster's new Minnesota location—someone excited by the opportunity to wear a lot of different hats and help shape how the store operates from day one. This is a full-time role for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is equally comfortable working with customers on the sales floor, jumping into warehouse operations, or working closely with our Customer Experience team to ensure top notch service across all channels. As the Minnesota location grows, this person will play an important role in helping us build efficient systems, deliver a great customer experience, and establish The Ski Monster in a new market. Responsibilities Sell hardgoods and accessories in person and virtually when needed Mount skis and snowboards Receive, organize, and display products Ensure orders are fulfilled quickly and accurately Work closely with our customer experience team to keep customers stoked Scheduling as team grows Ensure returns are processed quickly while coordinating with Boston team Open and close the store, keeping it clean, organized and well merchandized Anticipate the slack and pick it up, no job too small Lead the team Skills & Qualifications Comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities in a single day Retail, customer service, or warehouse/fulfillment experience preferred Ski industry knowledge and personal passion is a big plus Strong communicator - comfortable with customers, ownership, and coordinating remotely with Boston team Entrepreneurial Mindset - comfortable with ambiguity and a real self starter Reliable and Punctual Ability to lift inventory and shipping boxes (up to ~50lb) Nice to have Bootfitting or ski tech experience Prior experience in the ski industry Familiar with E-commerce fulfillment or POS systems Schedule Full time hours, weekend availability, relaxed in summer with a demanding winter schedule
