Job Description
Growing engineering firm has an opening for a Solidworks Drafter/Designer. This is a contract to hire position starting ASAP!
Duties:
- Produce detailed models and drawings using Solidworks
- Establish/document CAD standards
- Apply GD&T, sheet metal and machine design practices to support engineering projects
- Support prototype testing
- Build/maintain bills of materials (BOM)
Requirements:
- AA/AAS degree in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology
- Solidworks proficiency required
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with sheet metal and machine design
- Understanding of fabrication processes and shop practices
