Heartland Painting is looking for a Project Manager Associate / Trainee who wants to learn how to successfully manage residential painting projects from start to finish. This is a development position designed for someone who has the drive and character to become a great Project Manager—but may not yet have the experience to step into the role independently. You'll work alongside our experienced Project Management team, learn our systems and processes, and gradually take on more responsibility as you demonstrate your ability to execute. - You enjoy solving problems and want to learn how great projects are managed—not just be told what to do.
- You may have experience in the trades, construction, customer service, sales, leadership, or project coordination—or you may simply have the right attitude and work ethic to learn.
- You want to develop real leadership skills, build a career, and eventually earn the opportunity to run projects independently.

- Assist with project scheduling, walkthroughs, and job launches
- Learn how we scope, budget, and manage residential painting projects
- Help coordinate subcontractor crews and project logistics
- Conduct job-site visits and monitor progress and quality
- Communicate with homeowners throughout the project
- Help identify and resolve issues before they become problems
- Learn how to document and sell Add-Ons on active projects
- Assist with final walkthroughs and payment collection
- Help request customer reviews and resolve customer concerns
- Maintain accurate project information using G Suite, PaintScout, Monday.com, Slack, and other systems
- Learn Heartland Painting's production playbook and gradually take ownership of projects Your Growth Path This position is designed to be a training ground for a Project Manager.
