General Manager -
Disaster Restoration Lees Summit, MO Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$80,000-$100,000, depending on experience Quarterly Performance Bonus Company Vehicle Health Insurance 401(k) Stable, recession-resistant industry Direct access to company ownership with opportunities for long-term career growth Our client, a well-established and financially strong restoration company, is seeking a General Manager to lead all aspects of their Lees Summit, MO operation. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the owners. The General Manager will oversee the mitigation, reconstruction, and contents divisions while ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, employee development, and profitability. Responsibilities Oversee all daily branch operations, including mitigation, reconstruction, and contents. Lead and manage project managers, technicians, estimators, office staff, and subcontractors. Ensure residential and commercial restoration projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Monitor production, scheduling, job costs, and overall branch performance. Maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance professionals, vendors, and referral partners. Develop and mentor team members while fostering a positive, accountable work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices. Work directly with the owners to achieve operational and financial goals. Qualifications Previous experience in the disaster restoration industry. Strong experience overseeing both mitigation and reconstruction operations. Proven ability to lead multiple departments and manage daily branch operations. Experience with both residential and commercial restoration projects. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and profitability. Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Xactimate estimating software is preferred but not required. IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or similar) are a plus. Experience managing large commercial losses is highly desirable.
