What You'll Be Doing:
Operational Support:
Partner with the GM to manage all daily dispensary operations—from inventory control and compliance to sales performance and team scheduling.
Leadership & Development:
Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring a motivated team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism.
Staff Scheduling:
Ensure the dispensary is properly staffed to meet customer and operational demands, while maintaining labor efficiency.
Customer Experience:
Uphold and model exceptional customer service standards, resolving escalated concerns while maintaining a welcoming, educational environment.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure operations are in full compliance with all Troy cannabis laws and regulatory standards.
Inventory Oversight:
Assist in product tracking, auditing, restocking, and ensuring inventory accuracy through POS and compliance systems.
Financial Administration:
Support the GM with sales reports, performance tracking, expense management, and operational analytics.
Facility Maintenance:
Coordinate store upkeep and vendor appointments, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant facility.
Issue Resolution:
Help resolve employee performance concerns, customer complaints, or day-to-day challenges swiftly and professionally.
Employee Lifecycle Support:
Conduct interviews, initiate documentation for performance issues, and support the team in alignment with company policy and labor regulations.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
2-4 years of leadership experience in retail, cannabis, or another regulated industry.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with Troy cannabis compliance guidelines (preferred).
Leadership Strength:
Confidence in leading and inspiring a team with integrity and purpose.
Customer-First Mentality:
Strong focus on service, education, and the customer experience.
Operational Mindset:
Understanding of POS systems, inventory platforms, and retail operations.
Excellent Communicator:
Clear, calm, and professional communication skills—verbal and written.
Flexible Availability:
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
