In this vital role, you will support the store's daily operations, lead a team of sales associates, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Assist the Store Leader in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Lead and supervise sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing, and inventory control Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members Manage payroll, cash handling, cashiering duties, and store bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost sales and enhance store visibility Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and procedures while supervising shift activities Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising experience Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, bookkeeping, and scheduling Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management tools Effective communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus Experience with merchandising, stocking, marketing initiatives, and retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations or wireless sales is advantageous but not required Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic bookkeeping tasks Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us as an Assistant Manager where your energy fuels our success!
