Hendersonville, NC 28972 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at a convenience store in Anderson, SC. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to support the store manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient store management. Key Responsibilities Lead and assist in managing daily store operations to achieve sales and profitability goals. Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Maintain inventory levels, order stock, and ensure proper merchandising standards. Handle cash management, including deposits and reconciliation. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local laws. Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally. Support the Store Manager in scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks. Assist in implementing marketing and promotional activities. Qualifications Proven experience as an assistant manager or lead assistant in a convenience store environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of inventory management and cash handling procedures. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
