Assistant General Manager

The Amazing Escape room is a growing escape room company with locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager for our Edison, NJ location. Do you enjoy games and puzzles? Do you consider yourself a creative and out going person? Are you looking for a part time job in a fun fast paced entertainment company? Then this job is for you! At Amazing Escape Room, our Game Masters are responsible for checking in customers, going over the rules, introducing the groups to their room's story in a fun entertaining way, watching the group from our control room for safety, giving groups hints as needed, ensuring the groups have the best time, resetting the rooms for the next group, and keeping up with the cleanliness of the location! As a member of our management team you will not only participate in all the previously listed game master tasks, but you will also assist in more in-depth room fixes/maintenance, open and close the store, aid in scheduling and payroll, social media/marketing, and so much more!

We are a booking based attraction. Hours may be limited if bookings are lacking. We try our best to accommodate our staff and supply them with as many hours as requested, however we want applicants to know that this is not a full time position. During busy times we can and will give as many hours as possible, during holiday times you may see 30+ hours a week. Though during slower periods it may be closer to the 15 hour range. We do make up for this with the addition of tips and bonusses, but we want to be transparent to our potential applicants. Currently, Our business hours are:

Monday-Thursday:

12pm-11pm

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:

10am-11pm Must be 18 years or older to be considered Pay is starts at $17.50 per hour plus many ways to earn tips and bonuses!
