Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished accounting executive to oversee the full accounting operation for a gaming and hospitality organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. This leader will guide financial close activities, strengthen reporting accuracy, and provide insight that supports sound business decisions across the company. The role also plays a key part in maintaining compliance, elevating internal controls, and partnering with stakeholders in both gaming and non-gaming areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct the overall accounting function, ensuring accurate records, timely deliverables, and strong coordination across the finance team.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process while improving consistency, efficiency, and reporting quality.
  • Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and analytical summaries for executive leadership.
  • Manage budgeting activities in partnership with operational leaders, helping translate business plans into reliable financial targets.
  • Establish, monitor, and enhance internal control practices to support compliance, risk management, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate gaming and non-gaming audit activity, serving as a primary finance contact and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide financial analysis that identifies trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for process and cost improvements.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, building a high-performing team focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
