Timbers Town Center, formerly The Shops at Fallen Timbers, is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our property leadership team as Assistant General Manager . The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the property. What You'll Do As Assistant General Manager, you will work alongside the General Manager and property team to support daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the General Manager with the overall day-to-day operation of Timbers Town Center. Help provide leadership and support to Operations, Public Safety, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other property departments. Monitor daily operations to help ensure standards for safety, cleanliness, and customer service are met. Conduct property inspections for appearance, safety, and operational readiness. Respond professionally to tenant, guest, and operational concerns. Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and community partners. Assist with coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers. Support departmental staffing, scheduling, coaching, and other operational needs. Assist with property events, seasonal initiatives, and community activities. Review operational reports, work orders, and department priorities. Assist with budget reviews, financial reporting, and tracking property performance. Help identify opportunities to improve property operations and the guest experience. Support the General Manager with employee development and departmental coordination. Serve as Acting General Manager when delegated or during the General Manager's absence. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is ready to take an active role in the day-to-day leadership of the property and who is comfortable balancing customer service, staff support, and operational responsibilities. Previous leadership experience in property management, retail, hospitality, facilities, operations, or another customer-facing environment preferred. Strong leadership and customer service skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organization, problem-solving, and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional and confident when interacting with employees, tenants, guests, vendors, and contractors. Ability to resolve concerns and make sound day-to-day operational decisions. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning property management and reporting systems. Collaborative and willing to assist wherever needed to support successful property operations. Physical & Work Requirements This position combines office responsibilities with hands-on work throughout the property. The role requires regular walking throughout Timbers Town Center, standing, climbing stairs, driving, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds . The Assistant General Manager works in both office and outdoor retail environments and regularly interacts with employees, tenants, guests, vendors, contractors, and other community partners.
