Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
The General Manager will run one of Pressure Point's operating companies and is the main connection between the local business and the Platform Leadership Team. The GM, along with other company leadership, is responsible for safety, people and culture, sales growth, customer relationships, operations, financial results, risk, and the long-term health of the business. The job is to protect what already works here, the people, the reputation, the local name on the truck, while using Pressure Point's resources to grow faster, run better, and build the next group of leaders.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.
Sales & Growth Drive sustainable revenue growth and maintain a healthy, profitable backlog Support business development across commercial roofing, service and maintenance, sheet metal, and residential divisions Build and protect key customer and market relationships Identify opportunities for retention, cross-selling, expansion, and profitable growth 2. People & Culture Build, develop, and retain high-performing employees and leaders Ensure the organization has the right people in the right seats Create accountability through coaching, performance management, and succession planning Reinforce company purpose, core values, and culture throughout the business 3. Safety Leadership Set the tone that safety is non-negotiable Ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and regulatory requirements Lead improvements that reduce risk and protect employees, customers, and company assets Hold leaders accountable for safety performance 4. Customer Leadership Communicate project schedules and expectations clearly, fulfill commitments, and resolve significant concerns promptly Protect the company reputation for responsiveness, reliability, quality, and professionalism Build long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners Promote outstanding customer service throughout the organization 5. Operations Leadership Ensure work is completed safely, profitably, on schedule, and to quality standards Lead commercial roofing, sheet metal, residential, service, repair, and maintenance operations Improve production capacity, operational efficiency, accountability, and consistency Keep production schedules current, properly staffed, and communicated to customers and internal teams 6. Financial Performance Own operating company profit and loss performance Achieve revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, cash flow, and profitability objectives Manage budgets, job costing, accounts receivable, and expense controls Use consistent pre-job and post-job reviews to improve estimating accuracy, labor performance, material usage, and job profitability 7. Risk Management Identify and mitigate contractual, operational, financial, and safety risks Protect company assets, reputation, and customer relationships Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements Address issues proactively before they affect business performance 8. Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the annual business plan Align local priorities with Pressure Point Platform objectives Lead continuous improvement and strategic growth initiatives Build long-term value for employees, customers, ownership, and the platform
ACQUISITION & INTEGRATION RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive implementation of PPBS while protecting local culture, relationships, and market reputation Use platform leadership, shared services, CRM, technology, and reporting systems effectively Manage clear KPIs, operating rhythms, and accountability structures Develop local leaders and share successful practices across operating companies
AUTHORITY
Direct day-to-day operations and establish priorities Develop, manage, and separate employees within company guidelines Oversee budgets, expenditures, contracts, and resource allocations set by the Company Represent the company with customers, vendors, community partners, and industry organizations

Revenue growth, backlog, gross margin, EBITDA, net profit, and cash flow
Customers & People:
Customer retention, employee retention, leadership development
QUALIFICATIONS
Required 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial roofing, construction, building services, or a related trade Demonstrated P&L responsibility and strong financial and business acumen Proven success leading multi-disciplinary teams, developing leaders, and creating accountability Strong customer relationship, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of roofing systems, project scheduling, construction technology, and CRM-based operating processes Preferred Commercial roofing leadership experience, including knowledge of sheet metal, service and maintenance, and residential roofing operations Experience with acquisitions, integration, multi-location operations, EOS, or a similar business operating system
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary:
$95,000 annually
Medical Coverage:
Eligibility begins after 90 days. Employer pays 90% of the medical premium. Vision and dental available at employee expense. 401(k): Employee contributions may begin after 1 year (2,000 hours worked), with an employer match of up to 4%, subject to plan terms.
PTO & Vacation:
40 hours of PTO plus two additional weeks of vacation, available after 90 days for use within the year. PTO and vacation do not roll over and are not paid out, subject to applicable law and company policy. Performance Bonus Annual bonus eligibility requires the company to achieve a minimum Net Profit margin. Bonus components are calculated as a percentage of Net Profit, barred on year-over-year revenue growth and safety performance. Bonus calculations and payment are subject to final year-end financial results, plan terms, required withholdings, and company approval.
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
