Job Description
Vice President of Development - NFP - Bethlehem PA Comp up to $125K We are a world-class historical site that recently became part of a World Heritage inscription, the 26th in the US, although there are over 1,200 worldwide. The organization has grown largely through the efforts of committed board members and many dedicated individuals devoted to the preservation of Historic Bethlehem and the 1741 Moravian Settlement. With World Heritage site designation, the organization is looking for a broader-based professional to increase fundraising, awareness, and attendance. We are looking for someone with 8+ years of experience with quantified accomplishments to lead what is essentially a grassroots program. We feel knowledge of the Lehigh Valley is important. Experience with historic sites is not required, but an interest is highly desirable. The World Heritage Site designation presents a significant opportunity for the organization and its future hire to grow substantially. If you are motivated by the opportunity to take on a meaningful challenge and play a significant leadership role within a small but growing organization, we encourage you to apply.
