CarShop is seeking a Detail Manager to lead our Detail Department and ensure every vehicle meets the high cosmetic standards our customers expect. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, develop team members, and drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture built on teamwork and excellence. Responsibilities include:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Detail Department Supervise the cosmetic preparation of inventory and customer delivery vehicles Schedule and assign work to maximize quality, efficiency, and productivity Ensure all vehicles meet CarShop's appearance and quality standards Train, coach, and develop Detail Associates to achieve departmental goals Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and mentorship Maintain departmental records, reports, and operational metrics Develop and recommend process improvements that enhance quality and efficiency Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment What We're Looking For Previous automotive detailing experience required Previous leadership or management experience preferred Strong knowledge of automotive detailing techniques, products, and equipment Ability to train, coach, and develop team members Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement Positive attitude with strong leadership and communication skills Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and accountability Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing Ready to Lead?
