Vice President, Business Development About the Opportunity A leading commercial real estate advisory and investment sales platform is seeking a driven Vice President of Business Development to join its suburban Philadelphia team. The firm specializes in investment sales, capital markets, and advisory services across multiple residential asset classes, including student housing, multifamily, and build-to-rent communities. This role is focused on expanding client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting transaction execution efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and team members to cultivate strategic partnerships, engage decision-makers, and contribute to the firm's continued growth. This position is ideal for a relationship-oriented professional with a strong understanding of commercial real estate, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to create and convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.

BASE SALARY
($125-$150K), performance-based bonus opportunity, and benefits package Key Responsibilities Prospect and develop new client relationships across student housing, multifamily, and build-to-rent sectors Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities Track business development activity and manage workflow through CRM platforms and internal systems Collaborate with senior leadership to identify target markets, key clients, and strategic growth initiatives Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and market-related functions Assist in evaluating opportunities, conducting market research, and preparing presentations and marketing materials Support transaction execution efforts, including underwriting assistance, marketing preparation, and outreach to prospective investors and buyers Foster long-term relationships with clients, industry professionals, and referral sources Qualifications Preferred Experience & Skills 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, acquisitions, or a related role within commercial real estate Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets and investment sales processes Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and manage a sales pipeline independently Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Real estate license is a plus but not required Bachelor's degree required
