Diagonal Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing clustering antibodies, a new class of medicine that bridges cell-surface receptors to restore healthy signaling, unlike conventional biologics that block overactive signals. Its lead program, DIAG723, is in the clinic for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and pulmonary arterial hypertension, and its computational and experimental discovery platform supports a growing pipeline across hematological, cardiovascular, renal, and other serious diseases.

Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Legal ("VP, Legal") is the principal legal officer of the Company with overall responsibility for the legal strategy and services and the management of legal risk throughout the organization. The VP, Legal will provide legal counsel to the Company's executive team and Board of Directors and will provide leadership on all legal matters, including IPO-readiness, corporate governance and securities, business development and corporate transactions, commercial contracts, tax, litigation management, compliance, regulatory matters, employment, intellectual property, and other legal areas.

Experience:

A minimum of 15 years of corporate and transactional legal experience within the biotechnology industry gained ideally through a combination of major law firm training and in-house experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility. Public company, IPO/S-1, and complex commercial transactions experience, including M & A, are required.

Location/Relocation:

Watertown, MA. In-office presence ~4 days/week is expected.

Compensation :

$300-350k base range with a 25% target bonus and equity.
