Job Description
What you will be doing The role will be responsible for delivering consistent results within a hotel and setting up future hotels for success as the platform grows over time. The ideal candidate will need a wide range of skills including, but not limited to: Work closely Regional VP/SP and corporate TEAM to maximize revenue, profit, reporting, compliance, etc. Support open hotels in the growing platform while transitioning new hotels and their teams as the portfolio grows over time. Direct and guide the management team in all property activities Assist a Team Member at the desk, as a house person, or in housekeeping, or wherever needed The role includes recruiting, developing, goal setting and managing team, expense control, guest service and related issues, sales activity, team satisfaction, staffing and team management, cap ex and marketing in accordance with the company goals. Ensure that product quality standards are met in all areas of the hotel as it relates to the appearance, levels of maintenance and cleanliness Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel. The ideal candidate for this position Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field highly preferred. 3+ years' experience as a General Manager required. Experience with Microsoft Office strongly preferred. Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently. Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often. Ready to assist team perform their role at any level.
