We're looking for a General Manager who thinks like an owner and is passionate about developing high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities You'll oversee the daily operations of our Plumbing and HVAC divisions while working closely with ownership to execute the company's strategic vision. This position carries responsibility for operational performance, profitability, employee development, and customer satisfaction. Lead all Plumbing, HVAC, Operations, and Office teams Own the company's P&L, budgets, and financial performance Drive weekly revenue, profitability, cash flow, and KPI results Hold department managers accountable for performance and company goals Improve technician productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders and teams Implement and enforce SOPs, KPIs, and best practices Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Ensure an outstanding customer experience across every department Partner with ownership on strategic growth while reducing owner involvement in daily operations Build systems that allow the business to operate successfully Success in This Position Means Growing revenue without sacrificing quality Improving technician productivity and efficiency Developing strong department leaders Maintaining excellent customer reviews Building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Delivering consistent financial results Assuming full responsibility for profit and loss-related activities. What We're Looking For We're seeking a leader who has demonstrated success managing service businesses - not simply supervising employees.
Ideal qualifications include:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree preferred Five-plus years' experience in managing Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, or similar home service businesses Strong financial and business acumen Ability to interpret KPIs, financial statements, and operational reports Experience coaching managers and developing future leaders Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally within all levels of the organization. Ability to delegate responsibility and develop leadership skills in other team members.
