Job Duties and Responsibilities Ensure safety, quality control, and environmental protection programs are followed throughout all aspects of the business; Manage overall branch operations to ensure productivity, customer service, and profitability. Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations, and screening according to compliance standards. Lead and direct hiring activities in cooperation with Human Resources by diagnosing the needs of the company according to goals and projections and helping to identify the necessary talent; Oversee and enforce appropriate new hire training programs and practices. Manage personnel matters. Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives. Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets, and other reports detailing operational status. Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate high level communication skills; Foster and ensure cooperative and collaborative partner relationships; Maintain a positive attitude. Requirements of the Position Education and Certification
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in business administration or other related fields; Industrial, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus. OSHA-30 certification Recommended Work Experiences
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful managerial experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other profit center, preferably an equipment rental and dealership; Construction industry knowledge a plus Physical Demands
  • Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching (with arms and hands), handling, talking, hearing, depth perception, lifting, vision (close, peripheral, depth, ability to adjust focus), and lifting/moving up to 35+ pounds Working Conditions
  • Considerable local and non-local travel may be required; Work with a group and/or team; Frequent conflict situations may be present; Work after normal business hours; Potential hazardous work; Frequent exposure to extreme outside weather conditions and high levels of noise
