The Assistant Manager position is in training to become a future General Manager. The General Manager or "Site Leader" is in charge of all day-to-day operations at a designated location. Hiring, scheduling, training and development is the primary focus of the Site Leader. Customer service is the focus of all team members, and the General Manager is tasked with ensuring that all team members strive for excellence in that area. Primary Job Functions Hiring and Terminations Daily Schedules for all employees Staff Training Weekly Site Self Audits Process and procedure implementation and training Customer complaints and damage claims management Assist in site marketing plans and follow-up with measurable details Essential Functions Perform group meetings and trainings with staff at all levels Ability to perform training on equipment, hardware and software Assist in personnel issues as well as hiring and terminations Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
