This pivotal role requires a passionate leader with a flair for hospitality, operations, and team management. The general manager will run day-to-day operations, lead coaching standards, and drive revenue growth. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll assist in coaching sessions, close new memberships, manage the schedule, and build the systems that keep clients progressing and staying long-term. This role is ideal for a high-level coach who can also sell, lead people, and operate. Duties Lead and manage all operational aspects of Elite Integrated Performance
- Melissa, including staff supervision, member engagement, and facility maintenance.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance member satisfaction, increase membership retention, and grow the business. Oversee event planning and management, including special fitness classes, community events, and promotional activities to boost engagement. Manage budgets, control expenses, and handle cash flow with precision to ensure financial health. Supervise shift schedules, coordinate staff shifts, and ensure optimal coverage during peak hours for seamless operations. Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest experiences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits and maintaining first aid and CPR certifications among staff. Utilize technical proficiency in management software such as Microsoft Office for report writing, data analysis, and operational documentation. Make informed managerial decisions based on operational data, guest feedback, and team input to continuously improve service quality. Requirements Proven experience in management with a strong background in hospitality or fitness industry leadership. Proven coaching experience (small group + private) Exceptional leadership skills combined with excellent managerial communication abilities to inspire staff and engage members effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as shift management, budgeting, and event coordination simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and operational documentation. Experience in event management—planning, executing, and overseeing special events or fitness programs. Knowledge of operational management practices specific to boutique gyms or similar leisure facilities. Customer service expertise with a focus on guest services that create memorable experiences for members. Ability to make sound managerial decisions quickly while maintaining a positive team environment. Technical skills relevant to facility operations including cash handling procedures and basic troubleshooting of gym equipment if needed. First aid and CPR certification is required or must be obtained upon hiring to ensure safety standards are met at all times. Comfortable selling (consults, closing, follow-up discipline) Leadership mindset (accountability, standards, hard conversations) Organized and metrics-driven CPR/AED required; NASM preferred
- Performance-based bonuses may be applicable up to $5000/month.
Bonus pay is based on collected revenue and requires meeting standards/safety and reporting expectations.
