Role:
The Auto Repair General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of an auto repair facility to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, coordinating repair schedules, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Ultimately, the General Manager ensures the profitability and reputation of the auto repair shop through strategic leadership and hands-on management.Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto repair management or a similar leadership role within the automotive service industry. Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, tools, and technologies. Proven experience managing teams and driving operational efficiency in a service environment. Oversee inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards applicable to the auto repair industry. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain strong relationships to promote repeat business. Manage budgets, financial reports, and operational metrics to monitor business performance. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
