Are you ready to take the lead and make tails wag? At Village Pet Care, we're all about hiring and retaining the best talent for our furry friends! As our General Manager, you'll be at the helm of a vibrant team, running the show, pampering pets, and ensuring smiles all around. This position is based in Plano, TX market. A Fantastic Opportunity!
Lead Daily Operations:
Oversee the daily activities of the resort, manage staff, and deliver top-notch customer service.
Hands-On Management:
Balance administrative tasks with active involvement in front desk, daycare, and kennel operations.
Staff Development:
Monitor staff performance and support our team members growth and development.
Corporate Collaboration:
Work together across Village Pet Care's departments to achieve shared objectives and drive business success. Leverage our diverse knowledge from various stakeholders to enhance innovation, efficiency, and problem-solving. To include HR, Payroll and Compliance.
Reporting & Administration:
Prepare daily revenue reports, handle end-of-day procedures, safeguard pet guests, and manage inventory.
Shift Management:
Oversee team shifts and ensure budget adherence while keeping operations running smoothly.
Community Engagement:
Promote Village Pet Care, network within the community, and represent our brand with enthusiasm.
Additional Duties:
Undertake other responsibilities as needed to maintain seamless operations.

Requirements:
Management Experience:
a proven track record of at least 2 years in management, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance. This role requires overseeing P&L, project management, departmental operations and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Guest Service:
Strong commitment to guest service and their family members we serve.
Tech Savvy:
Knowledgeable about and skilled in using technology, particularly computers, software, and other digital tools. Comfortable with various gadgets and applications and can troubleshoot issues, understand new technologies quickly, and adapt to changing tech environments.
People Management:
Skilled in managing people, recruiting and retention, coaching, problem-solving, and maintaining confidentiality.
Animal Experience:
Previous experience with animals is a plus. Passion for
