Tuition Reimbursement Position Overview:
The Commercial Manager will manage account responsibility within the assigned sales territory which will be our Chem 32 business. Responsible for identifying, growing, and maintaining new accounts. Seeking local candidates only! This position will mostly be remote with 25% travel to and around The Woodlands office and our Chem 32 Orange, TX plant.
What you will be doing:
Lead commercial and customer support team in achieving goals, customer satisfaction, and developing personnel Develop appropriate bids on Requests for Quotation from potential customers and verify schedule with plant Ensure Purchase Orders are received, and Invoices are provided to customers in timely manner Develop a sales strategy for existing accounts to meet and exceed the sales budget through technical analysis of customer need, proper pricing, and good service Plan and implement customer meetings to review current business, identify new opportunities, and develop customer relationships Communicate customer expectations to the Chem32 Customer Service and Plant Operations Determine the appropriate approach to accounts that have multiple buying locations, therefore establishing and maintaining broad customer relationships including purchasing, environmental, and plant operations are essential A proficiency in account management, contract negotiations and general knowledge of Chem32 plant operations Develop sales budget and sales forecast Serve as the liaison between the Orange manufacturing location and customers during product trials Contribute to improving our standing as a global leading catalyst technology supplier by giving presentations, writing articles, attending seminars and conferences, etc
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent Understanding of refinery hydrotreating and related catalyst technology 10 years of experience in commercial sales within the refining/petro-chemical industry Refining experience is preferred Strong leadership skills Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred Proven success at sourcing and maintaining new customers Proven problem solving and interpersonal skills Ability to interact with customers and suppliers in a mutually beneficial way Excellent communication skills (oral & written) Ability to work within a team to develop sales strategies for growth Strong negotiating skills Knowledge of industry pricing to establish competitive options
