Come join the team at LivAway Suites and work for the best management firm in the business—Four Pillars Lodging. We are seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily hotel operations and help lead a lean, high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching others, maintaining strong property standards, and stepping into leadership responsibilities when needed. You will work side-by-side with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, strong guest satisfaction, and disciplined execution. This is not a back-office role. You will lead from the floor. What You'll DoSupport Team Leadership Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching team members Lead shift huddles and reinforce service standards Identify training needs and support performance improvement Step into leadership when the GM is off-site Ensure Guest-Ready Standards Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards Address guest concerns promptly and professionally Monitor guest feedback and support service recovery Promote in-house amenities and offerings Support Operations Assist with housekeeping coordination and quality checks Step in to support front desk, laundry, or housekeeping as needed Monitor property email and complete operational checklists Support inventory management and vendor coordination Financial & Administrative Support Assist with basic property-level financial tasks such as payment postings, labor tracking, and reporting Follow internal controls and documentation standards Sales & Community Engagement Support local sales outreach and relationship building Assist with in-house sales initiatives to help drive occupancy Represent the property professionally within the community Safety & Security Follow emergency procedures and support property security Maintain compliance with safety standards What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of hotel leadership experience Exposure to both front desk and back-of-house operations Strong understanding of daily hotel operations Proficiency with common hospitality systems (PMS and office tools) Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities Clear communication skills Reliability, initiative, and a bias toward action Flexible work availability, inclusive of nights and weekends.
Preferred:
Experience supporting labor tracking and basic property reporting Experience coaching team members in lean staffing environments Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to assist with housekeeping or operational coverage when needed Four Pillars Lodging, LLC and affiliated brands are Equal Opportunity Employers.
