Company Overview Goldfish Swim School is a leading franchise company dedicated to teaching swim lessons and water safety to children aged four months to 12 years. Our mission is to ensure all kids feel safe in and around the water by creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all students. Summary We are seeking a General Manager to join our team at Goldfish Swim School in Falls Church, VA. This pivotal role will oversee the operations of our swim school, ensuring that we deliver exceptional swim instruction while fostering a positive environment for both staff and students. The General Manager will play a crucial role in upholding our mission of making the swimming experience GOLDEN. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the swim school, ensuring high-quality instruction and customer satisfaction. Lead, train, and develop staff to maintain a motivated and effective team. Manage budgets and financial performance, optimizing resources for operational efficiency. Foster a welcoming environment for families and students, addressing any concerns promptly. Implement marketing strategies to promote swim programs and increase enrollment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe facility. Collaborate with franchise owners to align on operational goals and standards. Monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in management or leadership roles within an educational or service-oriented environment, preference given to those in aquatic roles who meet these qualifications. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to train and develop staff effectively. Experience in budgeting and financial management is preferred. Passion for child development and water safety is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
