Job Description
Surge Adventure Park is a cutting edge entertainment, fitness, and sports facility. Our venue is a family-oriented entertainment facility for social outings, intense workouts, and AWESOME birthday parties for everyone of all ages. At Surge we strive to create a fun, friendly, and safe environment with providing exceptional customer service through several structured and unstructured leisure activities for patrons of all ages.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
As General Manager, you will have to be flexible and must adapt to all areas of the business. Your job will include, but not be limited to, the following 11 areas. The Guest is the first priority! Implementation of the 5 characteristics and fulfilling the mission statement and policies found in the Employee Manual will be necessary. Confidence and all expenses, particularly payroll, will be a key factor in determining your success with this position. Completing all daily and weekly duties properly, including but not limited to, park inspections, cleaning, ordering all supplies, bank deposits, etc. All aspects of payroll including all new hire forms, terminations, payroll, timecard exceptions and spreadsheets will fall under your responsibilities. Holding all employees to the responsibilities and culture outlined in their job descriptions and company communications. The General Manager is ultimately responsible for all staff training, whether this is delegated or not. Ensure all corporate events, large groups, field trips and birthday parties receive the highest expected level of service. You will be expected to be the "face of the place" and create relationships with the guests and employees that enter to create a culture of friends, family, and fun. Report all injuries promptly to corporate, including video clips in all supporting documentation. Have knowledge of all operators' manuals for trampoline and climbing areas. You'll be expected to work a 47 Hour Work Week minimum. Work hours are flexible but we do request a minimum 8-hour shifts. Great communication with district manager and corporate office is crucial to your success as General Manager.Job Type:
