The Management and Data Security (MDS) organization builds Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Purview, which help customers manage and protect their users, devices, applications, and data in an increasingly complex digital environment. The Senior Business Program Manager will join the MDS Executive Office and report to the Chief of Staff. This person will serve as a strategic operator and trusted partner to the MDS leadership team, with primary accountability for the organization's Rhythm of Business (ROB), operating cadence, and portfolio of organization-wide programs and events. Responsibilities Own and improve the MDS Rhythm of Business, ensuring key reviews and planning forums are focused and drive clear decisions. Design each forum with a clear purpose, decision model, agenda, inputs, and expected outcomes; ensure the cadence remains focused on the highest-priority business and organizational needs. Manage the operating calendar, prepare leaders, track commitments, and address risks or gaps. Lead MDS-wide programs and events from planning through delivery, including budgets, communications, and success measures. Partner with the Chief of Staff and leadership team to turn priorities into action and keep work moving across teams. Improve workflows through automation and introduce AI-enabled insights to increase speed, transparency, and quality of decision-making. Build strong partnerships across the MDS Executive Office and MSEC Business Manager community. Handle complex and sensitive work with good judgment and discretion.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Human Resources, Communications, Computer Science, Liberal Arts, or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in business planning, operations management, program or project management, strategy, finance, human resources, communications, or a related role; OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines. Experience developing executive-ready communications, presentations, business reviews, or planning materials. #MSFTSecurity Business Program Management IC5
  • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900
  • $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400
  • $222,600 per year.
