The Opportunity:
As the Executive Director of Student Affairs (Spokane), you will provide administrative oversight for Student Affairs on the Spokane campus, including fiscal management and human resource functions. In this role, you will lead the development, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive approach to services, programs, activities, and student engagement across the Spokane campus. This includes but is not limited to: Providing strategic leadership to reporting units, including: Student Support Services and Compliance, Student Life, Counseling Services, The HUB, Interprofessional Learning Commons, Student Accommodations, etc. Aligning programs and services with Student Affairs and Washington State University (WSU) strategic action plans/pillars, and Fostering and promoting an atmosphere of open communication, respect and appreciation for all aspects of student, campus, community, and cultural life.Additional Information:
This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime exempt.Monthly Salary:
$8,338.26 - $10,828.91 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.Benefits:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least three (3) years of managerial experience. A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment. Demonstrated ability and willingness to communicate effectively with a wide range of students, staff, faculty and community members is essential. Evidence of oral presentation experience, written communication ability and ability to quickly acquire working knowledge of the policies, principles and procedures of the university are required. Willingness to work some evening and weekend hours. Team orientated with ability to bring faculty, students and staff together.Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling Psychology Student Affairs or related field. Experience with professional organizations like NACA, ACU-I, APAP, NASPA, or ACPA.
