Glance:
We are excited to bring on a manager in training candidate to our Midwest Milwaukee Bagging Operation This position is a junior level, active training position that is designed to provide the individual with the needed knowledge and skills to advance into higher Kinder Morgan positions within the organization. The training program is designed around a one-year period, at which time the individual should have the knowledge and skill necessary to advance into a higher position within Kinder Morgan. Promotion into a management position upon completion of the training program may require relocation within the Midwest Region. The management trainee will learn all aspects of the Milwaukee Bagging Operation. The program is not designed around a classroom environment but will offer a hands-on training program that will require the individual to learn all aspects of running the day-to-day operations and managing a bulk terminal including operations, environmental health and safety, engineering, sales, human resources, and finance. What you'll be doing: The trainee will be assigned to our Milwaukee Bagging Operation where they will work directly with operations management, the Director, and the various department heads through the training process. The training will be broken into six main categories: Operations Environmental Health and Safety Engineering Commercial Human Resources Finance and Accounting The trainee will also be assigned various projects to develop their skills and to support the operations at the Milwaukee Bagging Operation. The projects can include running a small engineering project, directing the operations workforce, analyzing the process flow of an operation, assisting the commercial group, and/or participating in an EH&S project. What we're looking for in the ideal person: Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable with ambiguity Strong commitment to continuous improvement Ability to analyze complex information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution Demonstrated strong relationship management skills Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels through clear and logical communications Conflict resolution and risk management skills Must foster a strong culture of safety 3-5 years of industry experience Must have ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card as issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration) Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record that meets company standardsPosition Requirements Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Preferred disciplines are engineering, operations, supply chainPhysical Demands:
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Must be willing to work in protected areas at heights up to 45 feet above ground Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Must be able to hear and smell for deficiencies or hazards Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test Overtime/shift changes may be required and is anticipatedWorking Conditions:
Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and required Must be available to respond to call-out as assigned Must be able to work over water (dock) Must be able to work with a team, take direction from operations leadership, keep required work schedule, focus on attention to details, and follow work rules Occasional overnight travel to Chicagoland areaSupervisory Responsibility:
