Executive Director Panhandle Home Health, Inc. (PHHI) Martinsburg, West Virginia Full-Time | Exempt | Reports to the Board of Directors About PHHI For over 50 years, Panhandle Home Health, Inc. has been a trusted nonprofit provider of compassionate, high-quality home health services across West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle. Deeply rooted in the community, PHHI is dedicated to helping patients remain safe, independent, and cared for in their homes, with dignity and respect. The Position The Executive Director serves as the chief executive leader of PHHI, responsible for advancing the organization's mission, ensuring operational and clinical excellence, and positioning the agency for long-term sustainability. Working closely with the Board of Directors, Medical Director, staff, and community partners, the Executive Director provides strategic vision, executive oversight, and inspiring leadership across all aspects of the organization. We are seeking a leader who combines regulatory expertise and business acumen with humility, compassion, and a genuine commitment to serving employees, patients, and our community. Key Responsibilities Lead PHHI's mission, vision, and strategic priorities in partnership with the Board of Directors. Serve as PHHI's primary representative with regulators, community partners, and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and long-term financial sustainability. Required Qualifications Must meet applicable Medicare/Medicaid Conditions of Participation, including: • Be a licensed physician, registered nurse, or hold an undergraduate degree ; and • Have experience in health service administration/management, including at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related health care program.
