This position works closely with Development, Mission Services, Finance, and program teams to identify funding opportunities, prepare strong grant submissions, monitor deadlines, collect outcomes, maintain accurate records, and ensure funder requirements are met. The role requires strong writing, organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to turn program activity, data, and participant impact into clear funder-ready materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Research foundation, corporate, government, and community funding opportunities aligned with Goodwill Arkansas' mission, programs, and strategic priorities. 2. Maintain the grants calendar, including application deadlines, reporting dates, renewals, award notices, and required deliverables. 3. Track grant opportunities through the full lifecycle, including prospecting, submission, award, reporting, renewal, and closeout. 4. Maintain organized grant files, including proposals, budgets, agreements, reports, correspondence, and compliance documents. 5. Monitor funder portals and communications for updates, deadlines, and reporting requirements. 6. Draft and edit grant applications, letters of inquiry, renewal requests, reports, and supporting materials. 7. Prepare clear and compelling narratives that communicate program needs, outcomes, and impact. 8. Coordinate with internal departments to collect program information, budgets, data, success stories, and required attachments. 9. Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, aligned with funder guidelines, and submitted on time. 10. Prepare grant reports, updates, reimbursement requests, and compliance documentation. 11. Collect and review program data, including participant demographics, services, credentials, employment outcomes, referrals, and other required metrics. 12. Work with CaseWorthy and other internal systems to support accurate data tracking and reporting. 13. Monitor grant deliverables and help ensure internal teams understand documentation and reporting expectations. 14. Assist with budget details, expense documentation, match information, restricted funding records, and financial reporting support. 15. Coordinate with Finance on grant budgets, reimbursements, allowable expenses, restricted funds, and funder-required financial documentation. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education Bachelor's Experience 2 years related experience and/or training. Management Experience Not Applicable Skills Grant writing, grant research, reporting, compliance, project management, data tracking, budget coordination, funder stewardship, cross-department collaboration, deadline management, attention to detail, written communication, Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, CaseWorthy, CRM systems, and online grant portals. Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license required if travel is assigned. Reliable transportation required for occasional meetings, partner visits, or Goodwill Arkansas site travel. No grant-specific certification required. Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Grant writing or grants management certification preferred. GPC, CGMS, or similar grant compliance credential preferred. Project management certification preferred, such as CAPM or PMP. Mental Demands
