Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, the Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager bridges grassroots community support with major corporate and foundation philanthropy. With support from the Director of Philanthropy, you will lead the museum's $1.5M corporate and foundation fundraising program, including sponsorships, grants, corporate volunteers, in-kind gifts, and matching gifts. The role will require cross-departmental collaboration and will develop and execute strategies to meet annual fundraising goals and drive year-over-year growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the $1.5M corporate and foundation giving program to meet annual financial goals. Identify, write, and submit grant proposals, and oversee post-award reporting and compliance. Develop and implement strategies for year-over-year growth and corporate and foundation portfolio expansion. Collaborate with leadership and the Board of Directors to best utilize existing corporate and foundation connections. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate donors, foundations, corporate volunteers, and partners through consistent communication, follow-ups, and proactive outreach. Lead the corporate volunteer program to increase revenue through volunteer hours matching and improve corporate engagement. Maintain and improve upon the infrastructure for corporate giving, including systems for reporting, record-keeping, and matching gifts. Generate and analyze fundraising reports and projections to track progress toward goals and provide actionable insights for improvement. Function as an active, collaborative, and contributing member of the museum team, offering cross-departmental support to help achieve museum-wide goals. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Philanthropy in support of CDM operations.
Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
3-5 years' experience in fundraising.

Ability to articulate a deep understanding of and appreciation for the museum's mission, purpose and role in the community Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, and ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships Excellent writing skills to produce compelling letters of intent, grant applications, reports, solicitation letters, and correspondence Knowledge of local companies, the technology sector, corporate giving opportunities, and grant opportunities Fundraising experience in a highly goal-driven environment Experience building a robust and active pipeline of 100+ new and past donors High ethical standards in fundraising and for handling confidential materials Ability to engage with children and adults in an age-appropriate, clear, and friendly manner Comfort using computers, tablets, and basic office applications such as GSuite and/or Microsoft Office Ability to learn museum-specific systems and procedures quickly Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience and efficiency in managing relationships and developing reports with CRM systems Ability to leverage data and successfully develop and implement data-informed strategies Self-starter who is able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Passion for building a brighter future for all children Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout museum spaces and event environments. Ability to lift and transport materials up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods during events and productions.
