Entry Level Salary:
$20 - $20 per hour Job Details - We are seeking an Entry Level Grant Reimbursement Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and contribute to the financial health and sustainability of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of grant reimbursement, including expense reporting, grant revenue, and grants receivable. This role requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.Responsibilities:
1. Willing to learn the grant reimbursement process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. 2. Prepare, review, and submit expense reports in a timely and accurate manner, and reconcile any discrepancies or issues. 3. Monitor grant revenue and grants receivable, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders. 4. Work closely with other departments to gather necessary information and documentation for grant reimbursement. 5. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the grant reimbursement process. 6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in grant reimbursement and provide recommendations for improvements. 7. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance, and identify and address any issues or concerns. 8. Provide training and guidance to other team members on grant reimbursement procedures and best practices. 9. Handle any other duties or tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications:
1. Associates a Must, pursuing Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field. 2. A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry. 3. Strong knowledge and understanding of expense reporting, grant revenue, and grants receivable. 4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. 6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to a non-financial audience. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software. 8. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and professionalism. 9. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.A bit about us:
