Free Household YMCA of Greater Indianapolis Membership Paid Time Off and Sick Time Insurance 20 Hours Per Week of Free Child Care Flexible Hours/ Scheduling Retirement Discounted Program Fees Professional Development The Community Impact Program Director is responsible for supporting families in Boone County through one on one coaching and individualized support to help individuals and families achieve employment, financial stability, and long term self sufficiency goals. The position assesses participant needs, develops individualized action plans, provides employment and career advancement support, delivers financial coaching, and connects participants with benefits, services, and community resources. The Community Impact Program Director also develops and maintains strong relationships with employers, community organizations, and other partners to expand opportunities and resources for participants. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate participant records, tracking progress and program outcomes, and providing ongoing follow up, encouragement, and accountability. Through a holistic, participant centered approach, the position helps individuals and families overcome barriers, strengthen financial stability, and achieve greater self sufficiency and long term well being. Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Center for Working Families program, including implementation, service delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Serve as the YMCA's designated CWF lead and primary contact for United Way of Central Indiana. Provide direct leadership and supervision of assigned staff, interns, and volunteers, when applicable, including program quality and implementation of policies and procedures. Coordinate the work of YMCA departments and community partners supporting the CWF program. Serve as the program's primary integrated coach and provide participant centered coaching across the three core CWF service areas: employment and education, financial capability and income supports. Assist participants with assessments, goal planning, referrals, follow up, and progress toward long term financial stability. Maintain accurate and timely participant records in Efforts of Outcomes, ETO, and other required YMCA systems, including enrollment, assessments, coaching activities, referrals, services, participants goals, program outcomes, and required reporting information.

Drive Enrollment and Retention:
Develop participant recruitment and referral strategies, increase enrollment, support ongoing engagement, and ensure participants are connected to appropriate bundled services and relevant to YMCA resources, members.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong partnerships with employers, education and training providers, non profit agencies, public benefits providers, financial institutions, ad community stakeholders to address the needs in the community.
Grant Oversight:
Manage grant deliverables, including accurate data, collection, outcome monitoring reporting, invoicing, required United Way meetings and training, and compliance with CWF program expectations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. BA or BS in Public Health, Public Administration, Community Development, or a related field required; master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in partnership development, coalition building, or community engagement, ideally within health or nonprofit sectors. Strong facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and consensus building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and public relations skills. Familiarity with rural Indiana health needs and the community landscape strongly preferred. Ability to travel regularly and extensively across assigned region, including occasional evenings/weekends for programming. Completion of all position-specific and mandatory YMCA training within specified deadlines.
