Position SummaryThe Grant Management Office (GMO) Strategist/Analyst serves as the agencys lead for grant reporting, impact analysis, and grant Review (selection) design and management within the AkoyaGo Grant Management System (GMS). This role ensures that grant decisions and outcomes are transparent, equitable, datainformed, and aligned with Presbyterian Life & Witness (PL&W) values and priorities.
By combining reporting and impact analysis with stewardship of the Review process, this position strengthens faithful use of restricted funds, supports consistent grantmaking practices across ministries, and equips leadership with actionable insights to guide missiondriven decisions.
Primary Responsibilities 1. Grant Review (Selection) Strategy & ManagementUsing AkoyaGos Review framework, the Strategist/Analyst will:
Partner with grant sponsors and program staff to: Define review goals and selection methods aligned with program purpose and PL&W prioritiesDetermine appropriate review models (e.g., staff, peer, hybrid, panel)Configure Review processes in AkoyaGo, including: Reviewer assignments and accessScoring criteria and weightsReview forms and interfaces used to record scores, recommendations, and observationsRecruit, onboard, and manage review teams, including: Developing reviewer guidance and expectationsCoordinating timelines and communicationMonitoring progress and addressing bottlenecks or concernsEvaluate Review outcomes and methodologies to: Assess equity, consistency, and effectivenessIdentify bias, misalignment, or unintended barriersRecommend improvements to strengthen future grant cycles2. Grant Reporting & Impact AnalysisThe Strategist/Analyst will lead enterpriselevel reporting by:
Designing and maintaining standardized grant reports that support: Leadership decisionmakingProgram evaluation and learningAccountability and stewardship of restricted fundsAnalyzing grant data across programs to: Identify trends, outcomes, gaps, and emerging needsSupport assessment of alignment with PL&W mission prioritiesEnsuring reporting standards and definitions are applied consistently across programsPartnering with Communications, Development, and program staff to translate data into meaningful narratives about grant impact3. System Stewardship & Data IntegrityThis role supports sustainable use of the GMS by:
Maintaining consistent configuration standards for Review and reportingSupporting data quality, validation, and documentation practicesIdentifying system improvements and workflow refinementsPartnering with IT, Finance, and Legal as needed to support integrations and compliance4. Training & SupportThe Strategist/Analyst will:
