Job Description

The Donor Relations Coordinator builds and strengthens relationships with mid-level donors, supports grant development efforts, and drives event sponsorship revenue. This role focuses on relational fundraising strategies that increase donor engagement, retention, and giving. Through consistent communication, stewardship, and collaboration, the Donor Relations Coordinator plays a key role in advancing Grace Centers of Hope's mission and financial sustainability. Core Competencies Mission & Faith Alignment Champions the vision and mission of Grace Centers of Hope Demonstrates a dependency on God Faithful in the small things Models FAT leadership: Faithful, Available, and Teachable Servant Leadership & Character Serves as a steward and servant first Seeks to uplift others rather than promote self Welcomes correction and strives for continuous improvement Takes ownership of responsibilities and outcomes Responds to challenges with patience and respect Excellence & Accountability Pursues excellence in all responsibilities Completes work diligently, on time, and with excellence Embraces change through preparation and flexibility Demonstrates consistency, reliability, and follow-through Team Leadership & Development Effectively builds and leads teams Develops people through encouragement, accountability, and example Cultivates an atmosphere of growth Communication & Culture Communicates in a life-giving and respectful manner Sets the tone through attitude, communication, and conduct Fosters unity and collaboration Brings joy and positivity and is fun to work with Key Skills & Capabilities Strong relationship-building and donor stewardship skills Effective verbal and written communication Fundraising and donor engagement strategy Ability to confidently make direct asks Event sponsorship development and management Grant research and basic proposal-writing support High level of organization and attention to detail Proficiency in CRM systems and data management Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset Collaboration and cross-functional teamwork Professionalism, discretion, and integrity Primary Responsibilities Donor Cultivation & Stewardship Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors through consistent communication and relationship-building Acknowledge and respond to gifts Re-engage lapsed donors Conduct tours Intentionally develop donors toward increased and major giving Donor Engagement & Revenue Growth Identify and secure matching gift partners Manage and fulfill donor wish lists Facilitate direct solicitations Provide timely and meaningful updates to donors to strengthen engagement and giving Event Sponsorship & Support Identify, solicit, and secure event sponsors Manage sponsor relationships Ensure fulfillment of sponsorship benefits Support event execution and committee engagement Grant Support Research grant opportunities Assist in proposal writing and submission Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information Track grant activity and deadlines Data & CRM Management Maintain accurate donor records within the CRM Track donor interactions and engagement Support reporting, segmentation, and data integrity efforts Collaboration Partner with internal teams to support communications, events, and development initiatives Assist with community-based fundraising efforts Qualifications Experience in fundraising or donor relations preferred Strong communication and organizational skills CRM experience preferred Why This Role Matters This role is critical to advancing the mission of Grace Centers of Hope by strengthening donor relationships, expanding fundraising opportunities, securing event sponsorships, and supporting grant development. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
