Job Description

Grant Assistant MISSION :
Since 1919, Children's Dental Services is dedicated to improving the oral health of children from families with low incomes by providing accessible treatment and education to our diverse Minnesota Community. Seeking bright, dynamic, highly organized, upbeat individual to write grants and participate in project organization at an exceptionally busy, growing non-profit community clinic dedicated to the oral health of low-income children, pregnant women and families. Full-time, on-site work required to ensure knowledge of integration with clinic staff, patients and partners.
Job Tasks:
  • Responsible for conducting a full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant applications
  • Assist in grant reporting, including preparation of financial documentation
  • Assist in the research, coordination, planning, and execution of grant writing and fundraising
  • Assist in the management, oversight and execution of public health grant programs and deliverables
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Responsible for office opening/closing duties as needed Desired qualifications:
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience in grant writing, including a positive funding rate
  • Outstanding oral presentation abilities
  • Ability to execute work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and work in a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for public health, diversity, equity, inclusion and environmental sustainability
  • Experience in non-profit administration and public health desired
  • Minimum 1 year of successful grant writing and program management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required
Salary:
