Full-Time Shift 1 Job Description The Manager, State and Federal Grants will source, research, write and manage grant proposals for Kaleida Health, which will support the Gates Vascular Institute, Buffalo General Medical Center, Oishei Children's Hospital, HighPointe on Michigan Long-term Care, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital and DeGraff Medical Park, the Visiting Nurses Association and Upper Alleghany Health System.

The Manager, State and Federal Grants will write organized and compelling proposals to support programs and services provided by Kaleida Health. Candidate will apply their knowledge of grant seeking and writing methods to reach revenue goals. Candidate will collaborate with team members in Finance/Campus Development/IT/Foundation, leaders at the hospitals, and develop relationships with key community stakeholders. Candidate will be responsible for financial oversight of $10 million + annually in funding and proposals.

To ensure success, candidate must write well, have proficient knowledge of fundraising methods and be committed to the mission of Kaleida Health. Preferred applicants are deadline-driven team players with outstanding multitasking abilities. Education And Credentials Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Experience 5 years of grant writing experience or related field required. Knowledge of private and public foundation/government grant making, proven ability to meet deadlines, proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals. Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong people skills and excellent organizational skills.

$78,086.58 - $107,165.27 Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
