Founded in 1929, the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle (BGCNR) has served as a place of hope and opportunity for thousands of youth. BGCNR provides safe, outcome-driven programming focused on the whole child, including academics, mental wellness, fitness, leadership, and civic engagement. Today, BGCNR serves over 10,000 youth annually at multiple locations and continues to expand innovative programming in high-need areas such as health, mental wellness, STEAM/STEM, and workforce development. Position Summary The Associate Director of Grant Programs provides leadership, oversight, and operational management of Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) programs at Isaac E. Young Middle School, Albert Leonard Middle School, and New Rochelle High School. The role ensures implementation fidelity, compliance with NYSED requirements, program quality, staffing, data reporting, and achievement of grant outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years supervising youth programs or grant-funded initiatives. Experience with afterschool, NYSED, compliance, and school partnerships preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of 21st CCLC, AS21, APR, QSA, SMV, attendance systems, budget oversight, staff supervision, program evaluation, and youth development. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
PROGRAM LEADERSHIP
- Oversee all 21st Century programming at IEYMS, ALMS, and NRHS
- Ensure implementation aligns with approved grant proposal and performance measures
- Conduct regular site visits and troubleshoot challenges
STAFF SUPERVISION
- Supervise Site Coordinators and grant-funded staff
- Conduct evaluations, coaching, onboarding, scheduling and corrective actions
- Coordinate professional development
COMPLIANCE & REPORTING
- Monitor NYSED, TARC, APR, SMV and grant compliance
- Ensure attendance and outcomes are entered accurately into AS21
- Coordinate quarterly Advisory Board meetings and required documentation
- Prepare for monitoring visits and corrective action plans
PROGRAM QUALITY
- Lead Quality Self-Assessment (QSA) processes
- Collaborate with evaluators and implement improvement plans
- Monitor curriculum alignment, SEL, workforce readiness and enrichment activities
DATA & ATTENDANCE
- Monitor recruitment, retention, attendance targets and enrollment
- Ensure student participation requirements are met to protect funding
FISCAL SUPPORT
- Collaborate with Senior Director and finance staff on budgets, expenditures, FS forms and purchasing
PARTNERSHIPS
- Serve as liaison with principals, district staff, families and community partners
- Coordinate with Education Liaison and evaluators
SAFETY & OPERATIONS
- Ensure emergency procedures, safety plans and drills are implemented
- Monitor compliance with OCFS and school-based procedures where applicable

- Perform additional duties assigned by Senior Director Supervisory Responsibilities Direct supervision of Site Coordinators, Youth Development Staff and support staff across all 21st Century locations.
Working Conditions Frequent travel between school sites; occasional evenings/weekends; prolonged computer use; ability to manage multiple priorities.
