Summary The Directr f Federal Prgrams will wrk under the guidance f the Chief f Perfrmance Management, Equity and Accuntability t ensure fiscally respnsible implementatin, mnitring and cmpliance f all Federal Prgrams including, but nt limited t, all Title Prgrams, cmmunity cllabratins such as Nita M. Lwey 21st Century prgrams and ther pst-secndary partnerships such as Gear Up.
Essential Duties and Respnsibilities:
Ensures all aspects f the Grant Award is fllwed with fidelity.
Prpsal and Submissin:
Understands grant guidelines and all wable expenses Creates r supprts thers with narrative and budget Ensures prpsals align t district pri rities Submits grants in accrdance t guidelines.
Pst Award Management and Administratin:
Ensures prcurement is fll wed Cllabrates with grant accuntants t cmplete mnthly accunt recnciliati n, Implements quarterly review meetings f all grants Ensures that plans are in place t ensure that grants are spent dwn in accrdance t the grant guidelines Mnitrs the effective implementatin f all Federal Prgrams and Grants t ensure that the Allentwn Schl District is in cntinuus c mpliance with all Federal guidelines. Ensures Equitable Cnsultatins fr Nn-Public Schls and mnitrs the implementatin f the Nn-Public pr grams. Ensures that all purchases utilizing Federal Funds fllws the prcurement prcess utlined in the Unif rm Grant Guidance (UGG). Writes Requests fr Prpsals as needed in cmpliance with Prcurement P licies Ensures alignment between federal expenditures, Future Ready Cmprehensive Plans, and ASD's Strategic Framew rk. Supervises the Nita M. Lwey 21st Century Prgrams including staff, prgram cmpnents, applicatin renewals, mnthly expenditure reprts and quarterly rep rts. Mnitrs the Time and Effrt Reprts f all staff wh are paid by Federal Funding. Ensures that building Title I budgets are created thrugh an equitable and bjective prcess that reflects p verty rankings Negtiates and manages cntracts, agreements, and Mems f Understanding fr gd r services that are purchased with Federal Funds. Cllabrates with parents, cmmunity members, schl staff, district administratrs, as well as ther internal and external stakehlders t cnduct the required Needs Assessments fr Title IV. Ensures the vice f all stakehlders in the creatin f the District C mprehensive Plan. Wrks cllabratively with administratrs t ensure that Title I funds, and ther grants are linked t parent and family engagement activities Remains current in studies and training f best practices in Title guidelines, prcurement and family engagement and keeps infrmed f federal regulati ns. Wrks cllabratively with the departments in the design, and implementatin f prjects and prgrams that will meet the specific needs f students with specialized needs. Wrks cllabratively with the Chief f Perfrmance Management, Equity & Accuntability t ensure that Title I funds, schl imprvement funds and all ther grants are linked t the strategic plan and the data reflecting student achievement needs such as the PSSA and ther data that are used t infrm cntinuus instructinal impr vement. Researches grant pprtunities fr the purpse f develping additinal funding resurces fr bth current and prpsed services, prgrams and administrative peratins as well as serving as a clearinghuse fr ptential grant funding pp rtunities. Perfrms such ther tasks and assumes such ther respnsibilities as may be assigned r delegated by the Superintendent, Chief f Perfrmance Management, Equity & Accuntability r his/her designee.
Supervisry Respnsibilities:
Directly supervises the entire Federal and State Grant Department, t include interviewing, hiring, and training emplyees; planning and crdinating wrk respnsibilities; appraising perfrmance; rewarding and disciplining staff; addressing cmplaints, and reslving prblems. Carries ut supervisry respnsibilities in accrdance with the district's plicies and applicable laws.
