With over a decade of experience, PTTI prepares students to meet employment challenges and build successful careers through practical, career-oriented programs. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fundraising & Grant Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to secure funding through grants and fundraising initiatives, manage grant proposals and reports, and develop strategic relationships with nonprofit foundations and government agencies. Your expertise in grant management, proposal writing, and database administration will drive our mission forward by ensuring sustainable financial support for our programs. Option to work Remote / Hybrid Duties Research and identify grant opportunities from nonprofit foundations, government agencies, and other funding sources aligned with organizational goals Develop compelling grant proposals, including case development, persuasive writing, and technical documentation to secure funding Manage the entire lifecycle of grants—from submission to reporting—ensuring compliance with funder requirements Maintain accurate records in databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar systems for tracking grants, donations, and prospect research Collaborate with program staff to develop budgets, financial reports, and program development plans that align with grant objectives Proofread and edit grant applications, proposals, and related content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism Build and nurture relationships with nonprofit community organizations and government agencies to enhance fundraising opportunities Provide regular written updates and reports to leadership regarding grant research, applications, fundraising activities, awards, and upcoming funding opportunities. Requirements Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in grant writing, fundraising, development, grant coordination, institutional advancement, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated track record of successfully securing grants, philanthropic funding, corporate sponsorships, or other financial support. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Utilize Instrumentl, SAM.gov, Grants.gov, foundation databases, government funding portals, and similar platforms to identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities. Knowledge of contracts management, content editing, persuasive writing techniques, and technical writing standards Experience conducting research on grant funding opportunities and developing strategic plans for fundraising growth Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading and editing documents Familiarity with nonprofit foundation processes, government agency funding procedures, and financial report writing Ability to work collaboratively across teams while demonstrating initiative and strategic planning skills Join us at PTTI as we empower students through practical training while securing vital resources that sustain our programs.
